Jiangping Chen, Ph.D.



I   am a Professor at the Department of Information Science in the College of Information at University of North Texas. I am teaching graduate and undergraduate courses on data modeling, Data Science, research methodology, and information architecture. I  supervise the department's Graduate Academic Certificate in Digital Content Management .

My reserach interests include Digital Libraries, Information Retrieval and Access, and Data Science. I direct the UNT Intelligent Information Access Lab. I welcome talented and hard-working students to join my lab for intensive Information Science and Data Science related research and development. My book: Multilingual Access and Services for Digital Collections has been published in January 2016. You can purchase it from the publisher Libraries Unlimited, or from Amazon.com.
